About Ashland University

A mid-sized private liberal arts university located in Ashland, Ohio, USA. Ashland was founded in 1878 as Ashland College. Initially founded as a university for teachers, Ashland University has grown to include over 70 undergraduate programs and over 10 graduate programs including nursing, business, and computer science. Ashland University aspires to be a nationally-recognized private university, where traditions of excellence are fostered and students discern their life calling and thrive. Ashland University places great emphasis on the importance of each individual.
